AFP is a global news agency delivering multilingual, fast, in-depth coverage of the events shaping our world from wars and conflicts to politics, sports, entertainment and the latest breakthroughs in health, science and technology.

The AFP News App in Valotalive displays live news on digital signage available in English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese. Each article contains photos of the event to bring a relevant angle to the news. Among other categories, you can choose between different types of news such as world news, business news, politics news, science news, sports news.

AFP News App - Activate and use

Easiest way for activating a content App is from Valotalive Dashboard. Just click the icon of the content you wish to activate and proceed. More detailed info of the first steps can be found here: Valotalive content App - Activate and go live

Settings on the Apps' Configuration tab

  1. News Category

    Choose a news category from the drop-down list

  2. Show advanced

    1. Seconds per article

      The best practice for news is between 8-15 seconds per one topic.

    2. Minimum amount of posts in one show cycle

      How many posts will be shown on one show cycle

  3. Rename the App

    Rename the app by clicking the name on top of the page.

    The best practice is to name the App to match the selected data source, in this case the name of the MS Teams channel you are pulling messages from.

  4. Save

Complete the work by adding the app to a flow or directly to a display.
