How to Set Up Display Grouping in 3 Steps

Group your displays and assign Flows to manage content across large or multi-location digital signage networks - follow these three steps to get started.

Written by Leonie

This guide gives you an overview of the three steps required to group displays and assign Flows. Each step links to a dedicated article so you can follow the process at your own pace.

Step 1 – Create Display Group Categories

Define the top-level categories used to organize your displays. Example categories:

  • Global → Internal, External

  • Country → UK, Germany, Finland

  • City → London, Berlin, Helsinki

  • Function → QEHS, HR, Production

Step 2 – Assign Displays to Display Groups

Add a tag - the specific group name - to each display under the relevant Display Group Category. For example, if you created the category "Country", tag individual displays with group names like "Finland" or "Germany".

Step 3 – Assign a Flow to the Display Group

Once your displays are tagged, assign a Flow to the Display Group. All displays sharing the same tag will automatically show the same content.

Each Display Group can only have one Flow assigned to it at a time.
