Before You Start
Before grouping your displays, ask yourself:
Who is the target audience? 🎯
All employees, a specific department, or visitors? What is the purpose of these displays? 🗣️
Internal announcements, safety, performance metrics?
Prerequisites
Display Group Categories already created — these are the top-level labels (e.g. Location, Audience, Department) under which your display groups are organized. See How to Create Display Group Categories
Active Displays: At least one active display ready to be assigned.
How Display Grouping works
Grouping displays is a two-step process:
Assign each display a group name (tag) under the relevant Display Group Category.
Category: Location → Group name: "New York"
Category: Audience → Group name: "Internal"
Category: Function → Group name: "QEHS"
Assign a Flow to Display group
Once your displays are tagged, assign a Flow to the Display Group - all displays sharing the same tag will automatically show the same content.
For example, tag all displays in "New York" and assign a Flow with New York-specific content to the Location: New York Display Group.
How to Add a Display to a Group
Go to Displays
Open the display you want to group
Go to the Display Groups tab
Click the Display Group field and select an existing group from the drop-down menu — or type a new group name to create one.
Click OK to confirm
Repeat for each display you want to add to the group.
Next Step – Assign a Flow to the Display Group
Once your displays are tagged, assign a Flow to the group so all displays in it show the same content.
This process helps you organize your displays logically, ensuring the right content reaches the right audience.
