Add the Overlay App to selected display

Overlay technology offers a fresh approach to displaying information by blending different data sources directly onto the screen.

This article covers how to assign an Overlay app to dedicated screens.

Prerequisites:

  • Overlay App activated. There are several Overlay App types available — see all setup guides here: Overlay App instructions

  • Manage Display Groups permission enabled for your account (i.e. User group)— this grants access to Tools → Overlay Apps

How to Assign the Overlay App to Displays

  1. Go to Tools / Overlay Apps

  2. Select your Displays:

    • Click an individual Display to select a single screen

      or

    • Click a tag (e.g. country, city) to select multiple Displays at once.

      Selected Displays will be highlighted with a green border.

  3. Choose your Overlay App from the drop-down menu

    Choose your Overlay app from the drop-down menu

  4. Click Set overlay app to selected displays to activate

    Activate Overlay App on the selected displays.
