Please note that this process involves adding both the Valotalive PWA and a companion extension, called Valotalive PWA Helper.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have the following:
Chrome Enterprise Upgrade: Required for all media players to enable remote management and monitoring.
Administrator Access: A Google Workspace account with access to admin.google.com
A dedicated Organizational Unit (OU) has been established for Valotalive devices. For instructions, see Google’s guide on Adding the organizational unit.
Setting up Valotalive PWA and Valotalive PWA Helper
Add the PWA app to the OU
Choose the correct OU
Select the correct OU to apply these policies. This ensures all enrolled media players automatically fetch the Valotalive PWA configurations.
Navigate to the Devices > Chrome > Apps & Extensions > Kiosks
Click the + (Plus) icon and select Click on Add by URL
In the pop-up window, paste the following URL for the Valotalive PWA:
https://pwa.valota.liveClick SAVE.
Add the Companion Extension “Valotalive PWA Helper”
Next to the newly added "Valotalive Player" PWA, click the Add extension button.
Use the Search by ID and use the following extension ID to find the companion extension:

and ADD EXTENSION at the bottom right
And SAVE the changes.
Configure Auto-Launch
From the list of apps and extensions, locate the "Valotalive Player" (PWA).
In the settings for this app, select it as the auto-launch app.
This ensures that the Valotalive Player will automatically start when the device boots up.
Click Save to apply all the changes.
As the final result you should see Valotalive Player as the "Auto-launch app" for the organizational unit:
To apply these settings, follow the instructions based on your device status:
Existing Devices: Move them to the designated Organizational Unit (OU) and reboot the devices to sync the new configuration.
New Devices: These settings will be applied automatically upon enrollment.
Verify the Setup
To confirm the setup is correct, go to the Device Information tab for the device.
Under the General section, find "Kiosk app info."
It should display information confirming that the Valotalive Player is running as the designated kiosk app.
