To get your information Flowing on your Valotalive Displays you need content Apps. Easiest way for activating a content App is from Valotalive Dashboard. Just click the icon of the content you wish to activate and proceed.

If you are starting from scratch you will see the CHOOSE THIS APP icon:

If you have previously activated apps you click on the New App button on the top right hand corner.

You can either directly modify App settings, or you might need to choose the CONFIGURATION tab from the left side panel.

  1. Name your app

Click the "pen" on top of the page and name your App.

    Best practice:
Use a descriptive name. If you use the SHOW TITLE setting on your display, the App's name will be shown on top of the display.

  2. Theme

Use the default Theme or change it according to your preferences.

In most cases, the Theme defines colors and fonts the App is using.

To create your own Theme or modify existing, go to My account | Themes.

  3. . . . At this point there are different settings available for different types of content Apps. Use the search to find settings relevant for your needs. . . .

  4. SHOW ADVANCED

You can find settings such as

    • how many seconds one content page is shown on a show cycle

    • will the contents from this App be shown once, twice, three times in one show cycle before showing something else

    • ...

We recommend always checking the SHOW ADVANCED settings.

  5. Complete the work by adding the app to a flow or directly to a display.
