How to tune your Display's layout

Set a default layout for all displays in your company, or adjust the clock, title bar, status bar, and view distance for a single display.

Layout options

You can customize a display’s layout with these elements:

  • Clock: shows the current time at the top or bottom of the screen

  • Title bar: adds context by showing the name of the content app

  • Status bar: shows whether the display is online, so you can see if it needs attention

You can also change the display’s orientation (portrait or landscape) or use the Multiview App to split the screen and show several content feeds at once.

Detailed layout (Title ON, Status ON)

  • Show title: displays the app name at the top of the screen

  • Show clock: displays the time in 12-hour or 24-hour format. The time follows the media player’s location, and you can change the time zone in the SETUP menu

  • Show next app title: shows the name of the upcoming app, which makes the content flow predictable and encourages viewers to stay for the next message

Minimalist layout (Title OFF, Status ON)

  • Show status bar: a green bar means the media player is online. A red pause symbol means it is offline but still showing content

  • Show clock: displays the time, with the same time zone options as above

  • Show display owner: adds the owner’s name in brackets next to the status bar, so viewers know who manages the display

View Distance

The View distance slider sets the size of text on screen. Adjust it so text is readable from your intended viewing distance. Moving the slider towards the left usually gives better results.
