This guide walks you through the quick and easy process of pairing your Valotalive device with your Valotalive account using your mobile phone. Essentially, this is how you "claim" your display within the Valotalive system. Claiming means pairing your device with your Valotalive account.
Before You Begin:
Make sure The Valotalive Player app is installed.
The Valotalive Player app works on Chrome OS, Windows PCs, and Samsung Tizen SoC displays. Find out more about the requirements and setup for each platform here:
Here's what the display should look like when you're about to claim it:
If you move your mouse, the screen layout may change and show "PIN HERE" as a placeholder. The actual PIN is always visible in the bottom left corner of the screen. Go to the Claim a Display page — for example in a separate browser tab — and enter the PIN from the bottom left corner.
Pairing with Your Mobile Phone
Log in to Valota.live with your mobile phone
Scan the QR Code: Locate the QR code on your Valotalive display and scan it using your phone's camera app.
Claim Your Display: After scanning, you will be directed to a Displays > Claim Display Page
Choose the correct media player from the drop-down menu.
Click and Wait: Click the green CLAIM THE DISPLAY button.
Wait: Wait for approximately two (2) minutes for the display to update itself. You should then see the chosen display name appear on the screen.
Add Content:
Now that your display is paired, you can complete the process by adding content to it.
