To broadcast a status alert, open the Status Alert Control panel using the URL provided by your Admin, find the preset you want to activate, and toggle it on. The alert appears on all your Valotalive displays immediately. Toggle it off when the situation is resolved.
What you need: The control URL from your Valotalive Admin. No Valotalive account or login is required to trigger an alert. |
How to trigger a status alert
Open the Status Alert Control panel in your browser using the URL provided by your Admin.
You will see a list of your configured presets. Each shows either HIDDEN or ON DISPLAY below its name.
Find the preset you want to activate and click its toggle. The toggle turns green and the label changes to ON DISPLAY. The row highlights green to confirm it is live.
The alert image appears immediately on all connected Valotalive displays.
When the situation is resolved, return to the page and toggle the active preset off. The label returns to HIDDEN and displays return to their normal content.

What the alert looks like on your displays
When a preset is activated, the image you configured for that preset appears full-screen on all connected Valotalive displays. The visual content — including the message, branding, icons, and any additional information such as time windows or contact details — is entirely determined by the image your team designed and uploaded during setup.
The alert stays on screen until you return to the Status Alert Control panel and toggle it off. There is no automatic timeout.
Note: If a display is offline when you trigger the alert, it will show the alert as soon as it reconnects. |
If the alert is not appearing on your displays
Check the toggle is green and the label shows ON DISPLAY in the Status Alert Control panel.
Check your displays have an active internet connection. Offline displays will not receive the alert until they reconnect.
Wait 30 seconds and check again. Display updates may take a few seconds.
If the preset slot is empty (no image uploaded), it will not display anything when toggled on. Contact your Admin to add the image.
If the issue persists, contact Valotalive support via the chat widget in the Valotalive Dashboard or at support@valota.live.

Warehousing and distribution
A warehouse supervisor receives notification of a delayed inbound delivery. They open the Status Alert Control panel, toggle on the relevant delay preset, and every display on the floor immediately shows the updated message — keeping all team members informed without anyone needing to leave their station.
Manufacturing
A production floor manager detects an equipment fault causing a line stoppage. They toggle on the 'Production Lines on Standby' preset, pushing a full-screen alert to all facility displays instantly — no PA announcement or radio call needed.
