Multiview App can be used for creating stunning and informative screens using different topics and content areas on a Display. Multiview App can be found under Apps even though it is a layout to use to alter your Displays look & feel.
Multiview App - Activate and Use
Activate:
Go to the Valotalive Dashboard, find the Multiview App under the "Apps" section, and click to activate it.
Select a Theme
Use the default Theme or change it according to your preferences.
In most cases, the Theme defines colors and fonts the App is using.
Select Your Content:
On the Configuration tab, use the + button to add the apps you want to display.
Click + to add an App from the drop-down tool.
Tip: Start typing the name of the App to narrow down the selection
The order matters: the first app goes in Section 1, the second in Section 2, and so on.
Use the arrows to reorder your apps.
Choose a Layout:
Pick a layout that matches your screen’s orientation (Landscape or Portrait) and the number of zones you need.
Set Timing: Under Show Advanced
Set the "Minimum time" for the Multiview layout to stay on screen.
Note: If a specific app inside the Multiview has multiple pages, this timer determines how many of those pages get seen before the screen cycles.
Go Live:
SAVE your settings.
And add the Multiview app to a flow or directly to a display.
Pro Tips for Better Displays
Mix It Up: Combine Multiview layouts with full-screen "Single View" apps in the same Flow to keep your audience engaged.
Highlight Key Info: To keep important information (like a safety alert or KPI) on the screen longer, create multiple Multiview instances with that same app in the same position, and cycle them in your Flow.
