MS PowerPoint App – Display PowerPoint presentations on digital signage

The Valotalive MS PowerPoint App connects directly with Microsoft 365. Slides are displayed as they appear in your presentation, with updates pulled from OneDrive or SharePoint every 15 minutes. Pages hidden in PowerPoint will not appear on screen.

App main features

✔ Secure authentication with Entra ID credentials (formerly Azure AD)

✔ Easy file selection with the OneDrive file picker

✔ Slides are displayed as they appear in PowerPoint

✔ Updates to the presentation are reflected on displays within a short lead time

Prerequisites

Before activating the app, make sure you have the following:

  • A PowerPoint presentation saved in Microsoft cloud storage (OneDrive or SharePoint). Each Valotalive app can only be connected to one PowerPoint file.

  • The presentation must be shared with anyone who needs to update the content displayed on screen.

Presentation pages are displayed on screen as they appear in the PowerPoint presentation.

How to activate the MS PowerPoint App

The easiest way to activate a content app is from the Valotalive Dashboard. Click the MS PowerPoint App icon and proceed to create a new app.

Authenticate Valotalive with your Microsoft account using OAuth2.

  3. Choose your PowerPoint file

After authentication, use the OneDrive file picker to select the presentation you want to display.
