Each App have Tabs that are used for e.g. configuration, management and troubleshooting.

INFORMATION tab

Check from the INFORMATION tab the following:

CUSTOM APP'S ID

ID is an unique number that Valotalive uses for troubleshooting

What type of app it is and where it gets the information from.

E.g. MS Excel app fetches data from M365 cloud and My Content channel uses the information uploaded by the user

CONFIGURATION LAST MODIFIED

Date of the last modification done to the app's configuration.

APP TYPE

Either Digital Signage or Embedded depending where the App is used.

Digital Signage Apps are used on the info screens.

Embedded Apps are used on intranets or similar third party pages.

From the following you can look for any error reported by the App itself or the hardware used.

  • OUTSTANDING REPORTS FROM PLAYERS

If there is a problem reported by the hardware

  • OUTSTANDING SOURCE REPORTS

Unresolved more generic errors coming from the service platform or from the integrations are listed here.

  • LATEST NOTIFICATION FROM THE SOURCE

All more generic errors coming from the service platform or from the integrations are listed here.

  • REPORTED APP ERRORS SINCE YESTERDAY

Latest errors. Some apps don't show this title if there is nothing to show.

❌ may be caused that the content App has not been assigned to any Display yet.

LATEST CONTENT

Comparing this information to the knowledge of when was the latest content produced will tell you whether the App is working or not.

Current data may show a small preview window of the actual content. This is not available to all Apps

From the following you can look for any error reported by the App

You can access both the FLOWS and the DISPLAYS from this tab.
