How to activate the My Content Channel App
Go to the Valotalive Dashboard and find the My Content Channel app icon
Click Create New

Configuration
Logo for Upload page
Upload your company logo to the My Content publication tool.
My Content Channel name
The name content managers see when selecting which channel to publish to. Use a descriptive name - such as location, team, or audience - especially if managers operate multiple channels. The channel name appears in a drop-down list when multiple channels are available.
Content managers can also assign a color to each channel to help distinguish between them when managing multiple channels.
Content Managers
Add content managers by entering their email addresses and clicking +. Repeat for each manager.
We recommend using personal email addresses rather than group emails - group emails can cause issues when team members change.
After clicking Save All, each content manager receives their personal publication link from no-reply@valota.live.
💡 Ask content managers to check their spam folder if they do not receive the link.
Company Logo for Posts
Upload your logo to appear alongside posts on your displays when content is created entirely within My Content Channel.
Advanced Settings
Click Show Advanced to access the following settings:
Setting | Description |
Default display time | How long each post page is shown on screen - minimum 3 seconds, maximum 30 seconds. Best practice: 10–20 seconds |
Language | English or Finnish - more languages available in the My Content user interface settings |
Posted by | Show or hide the content manager's name on screen |
Animated text | Typewriter animation for text posts - does not apply to PDF posts |
Number of posts displayed | Set slightly above your average number of posts per week |
Page transition animation | Choose the default animation for page transitions |
Seconds per article | How long each page is visible - overridden by video length or post-level timing |
Posts in one show cycle | How many posts appear before other content takes its turn |
Show Valotalive logo | Show or hide the Valotalive logo in the top right corner of the display |
Mute videos | Applies to videos uploaded to the Valotalive cloud |
Show page numbers | Display page numbers in the bottom left corner for multi-page posts such as PDFs |
