Since it uses the tools you already know, content management is effortless. Simply update your slides as usual, and the Valotalive app will automatically stream those changes directly to your office displays.
Slides App main features
The Valotalive integration allows you to turn your existing Google Slides decks into digital signage without making your files public.

⚠️ Important Note on Hidden Slides: Valotalive will display all slides in a deck, including those marked as "Skip" or "Hidden" in Google Slides. Ensure you delete any pages you do not want the public to see.
Google Slides - Setup & Authentication
To get started, activate the Google Slides App from your Valotalive Dashboard.
Just click the icon of the content you wish to activate and proceed. More detailed info of the first steps can be found here: Valotalive content App - Activate and go live
Settings on the Apps' Configuration tab
Authorize: Link your Google Account (OAuth2 Authorization)
Note: On the first authorization, you must "Select All" permissions for the integration to function.
Select Content: Use the Drive file picker to choose your specific Slides deck.
Customization Settings
Under the Advanced Settings tab, you can fine-tune the display experience:

Show content manager's name on display (On/Off)
Animated text on screens (On/Off)
Running typewriter text in posts
Number of posts displayed
The number of most recent posts that should be displayed by the app.
Min. 1, max. 40Page transition animation
Choose what kind of default animation you want for page transition
Seconds per article
How many seconds each page should be visible. If there are other timing values available they supersede this option.
Posts in one show cycle
Choose how many posts should be shown in one show cycle.

Mute videos
Unmuted videos will play only in Chrome OS media players.

Naming Best Practice:
Rename your app instance to match the name of the Slide deck for easy tracking.
Finalizing
Once configured, simply add the app to a flow or directly to a display.
