Valotalive has two main user types: Administrators, who manage the platform, and Content Managers/Publishers, who manage content on screens.

Administrator Permission Levels
Super Admin
The highest permission level. Only one (1) person can hold this role.
Has full control over the entire organization, including adding and removing organizational units.
Only the Super Admin permission can be assigned to one user at a time. All other permissions support multiple assignees.
Admin
Full visibility and editing rights across the entire company — all Apps, Flows, and Displays belonging to any member.
How it works: This is a broad permission level that provides extensive access across the entire company structure. ADMINs can:
Use, view, and modify the settings of Apps, Flows, and Displays belonging to all members within the company.
Group Admin
Full control over your direct group and any sub-groups or sibling groups — their Apps, Flows, and Displays. Cannot access groups higher up in the hierarchy.
How it works: This permission grants the user comprehensive control over your direct organizational group and any sub-groups. The user can:
Use, view, and modify the settings of Apps, Flows, and Displays belonging to members within the same group.
This capability extends to users in any sub-groups and sibling groups.The first step for granting a group of users needed privileges starts by adding a user group.
What you cannot do: View or modify the content of organizational groups that are above you in the hierarchy.

Peer Admin
Can view and edit content for users in groups at the same level and below. Cannot access groups above in the hierarchy.
How it works: With this permission, the user gains the ability to interact with the content and settings of users in groups at the same level as yours and those in groups below yours. The user can:
Use, view the content of, and modify the settings of Apps, Flows, and Displays belonging to members of your group and members of sibling groups.
Move Users
With this permission added to a group any member of the group can add or remove users within the direct group and sub-groups. Cannot move users to parent or sibling groups. add/remove users from the organizational group(s) they are responsible for.
How it works: This permission empowers you to manage the members within your direct organizational group and any sub-groups. You can:
Assign personnel who haven't yet been placed into a specific organizational unit.
Transfer users between your immediate organizational group and any groups nested beneath it.
What you cannot do:
Move users to organizational groups that are higher up in the hierarchy (your parent group).
Move users to organizational groups that are at the same level as yours (sibling groups).
Edit Permissions
Can add/remove permissions for the organizational group(s) they are responsible for.
How it works: This permission allows you to control what actions users within your organizational group and its sub-groups can perform. You can:
Manage the permissions of users within your assigned organizational groups (your direct group and any sub-groups).
What you cannot do:
Grant permissions to organizational groups that are above you in the structure.
Grant permissions to organizational groups that are at the same level as yours.
Grant permissions that your own group doesn't possess.
Remove permissions if your group wouldn't be able to grant them back.

Parent Access
Can see and edit contents of the group and use contents of the parent group.
How it works: This permission provides you with visibility and the ability to utilize resources from the organizational group directly above yours. You can:
Use and modify applications, flows, and displays created by other users within your own group.
Incorporate applications from the parent organizational group into your own Flows.
View applications from the parent organizational group in the application listing.
What you cannot do:
Modify the settings of applications or flows originating from the parent organizational group.

Invite Users
Users belonging to a group with this permission can invite new users.
How it works: This permission allows you to bring new members onto the platform. You can:
Access the “Invite users” tab located under My Company.
Send invitations to prospective users and specify the organizational group they should be assigned to.
This applies only to companies not using SSO (Single Sign-On).

Edit Display Groups
Can add and remove display groups.
How it works: This permission allows you to manage the structure of your display groups within your account settings. You can:
Add new display groups.
Remove existing display groups.
You can find these options under My Account -> Display Groups.
This permission gives user also permission to access Tools tab to manage Overlay Apps.

Manage Display Groups
Can access the Manage Display Groups tab under Tools to configure settings for all display groups in one place.
How it works: This permission grants you access to a centralized tool for managing your digital signage network. You can:
Access the “Manage Display Groups” tab located under Tools.
Utilize this tool to configure settings for all your display groups in one place.

SHOP access
Can order new Valotalive Managed media players and explore and activate available add-on services.
How it works: This permission provides you with the ability to procure new hardware and services for your digital signage network from Valotalive Ltd. You can:
Access the “Shop” tab within the dashboard.
Order new devices
Activate available add-on services.
