You can publish messages made with your company's presentation tools and turned into pdf files or create and publish messages on the go with the simple to use publication tools.

You can also

✔ publish pictures and videos,

✔ create simple messages

✔ schedule, delete and archive pdf messages, pictures and videos.

To publish messages you need a publishing link.

Look for an email from no-reply@valota.live with a title "Your access link to _ _ _"

This link will lead you to your personal publishing tool that you can use from a laptop or a mobile device.

Create a post using your company's presentation tool

Using your company's presentation tool, eg. MS Powerpoint, you'll get the company look & feel to all of your messages without a hassle.

Create your message

Create the message with the presentation tool e.g. MS Powerpoint or use an existing presentation. Multiple pages or one page makes no difference.

Best practice is to have

  • max 250 characters in a page and

  • 6-8 pages per presentation at maximum

Save the presentation in PDF format

Choose the channel from My Content

All available My Content channels can be found from the drop-down tool:

Choose the media

Take your mouse on top of the Drag & Drop or choose your media field you can either drag&drop content there or use a file picker.

Supported file types can be seen in the app.

Note!
If you have video or everything is included in the presentation there is no need to add Text. When Text is added it takes half of the displays content area.

Best practice tip for videos

Create a thumbnail

When you upload a video you can create a thumbnail from a selected position in the video. Just scroll the video to the point you want a thumbnail from and activate the arrow in the box.

Set the Display time

How many seconds one page will be seen. If not modified length of a page comes from the App settings.

With multiple pages, you can adjust presentation time for each page separately.

Schedule the post

Set the Schedule by selecting the start date and time and /or the end date and time and then click ADD to save this setting

Scheduling your My Content post multiple times

You can reschedule a post multiple times:

Add a new start time and end time and click the +ADD button.

Repeat as many times as needed.

Check from the PREVIEW that the post meets your standards, and finalise with SEND

NOTE!

The oldest posts will be removed automatically from the show cycle when newer posts are published. You can set the number of how many posts can be seen on the Configuration tab of the particular My Content Channel app.
