What you need
Before activating the app, make sure you have:
An active Microsoft Power BI Online account.
Reports located in My Workspace or a Shared Workspace.
Microsoft user permissions to grant third-party app access.
The Valotalive Power BI app approved in your company's Entra ID - see Valotalive Authentication Guide for Microsoft Business Applications
How to Activate the Power BI App
Go to the Valotalive Dashboard and find the Power BI app icon
Click Create New

Configuration
Authorize with OAuth2
Authenticate Valotalive with your Microsoft account.If prompted "Need admin approval?" see:
âSelect your report
Choose your report from the drop-down menu. Only reports you have access to are shown.
If you cannot find your report, confirm that:
You have access to the report in Power BI
The report is in My Workspace or a Shared Workspace you have access to
ADVANCED SETTINGS
Setting | Description |
Seconds per page | How long each report page is shown on screen |
Cycle pages | If disabled, only the last active page from Power BI is shown |
Enter report UUID manually | Overrides the selected report â find the UUID in the report URL between |
Pages to show | Select specific pages to cycle â overrides the cycle pages setting |
Filter to use | Narrow down data shown on screen using Power BI filters (Table, Column, Filter type, Values) |
Data refresh interval | How often data is fetched to Valotalive from Power BI cloud. Match this to how often your Power BI data is updated in the cloud. |
Background | Use report background (default) or transparent |
