Why isn’t content showing in My Display?

Work through the steps below in order. Most issues are resolved within the first three steps.

Step 1 — Check that content is assigned to your display

If My Display is blank or only showing a logo, it likely has no content assigned yet.

Step 2 — Check that the assigned Flow has content

A Flow can be assigned but empty. If no apps have been added to it, your display will show only the logo.

Step 3 — Check your content apps

My Content Channel empty?

If no one has published anything recently, or all posts have expired, there is nothing to show.

Using Microsoft Teams or a slow source?

Some integrations may take a few minutes to fetch content. Please wait a moment before continuing.

Step 4 — Hard reload the display

A hard reload clears the cache and forces My Display to fetch the latest content.

  1. Go to Displays → All displays and select your display

  2. Open the Remote Control tab

  3. Click Hard reload

Step 5 — Reauthorize your integration

Access tokens expire periodically and this is the most common reason integrated content stops showing. Go to My account → Service Integrations and reauthorize the relevant integration.

⚠️ Do not use Revoke unless you need to fully disconnect all apps from an account. Revoking deletes all linked apps and cannot be undone. 👉 How to reauthorize a Microsoft or Google app in Valotalive

Step 6 — Check credentials and permissions

If reauthorizing doesn’t help, the account used may lack the necessary permissions.

Still not working?

Contact support@valota.live and include the App ID from the app’s Information tab and any error messages. If needed, we can transfer one of our own displays into your account for further investigation — just give us permission to do so.
